The 2021 Customs and Global Trade update briefings was an excellent opportunity for the customs and global trade communities to come together and hear about the latest updates in the area of global trade.
The EU Commission joined a dedicated Customs and Global Trade expert team to inform participants about the latest changes in UK, and EU customs and global trade matters. A highlight was the focus on the new EU Dual Use Regulation, which entered into force three days later, on 9 September 2021.

WHO ATTENDED?
More than 50 persons joined this briefing from customs managers, export control compliance specialist, supply chain specialists, logistic operators and strategic C-suite operatives. Other participants included administrators and officers, export control officers, sales and sales executives, supply chain and logistic operators, warehouse and distribution centre staff, lawyers and legal departments, freight forwarders and hauliers moving goods across borders and government officials.
