ICS2 is coming! Hauliers must prepare for new EU import security rules or risk shipment delays.

If you transport goods into the EU by rail, road, or sea, the upcoming Import Control System 2 (ICS2) deployment will affect you. From 1st April 2025 (unaccompanied freight) and 1st September 2025 (accompanied freight), hauliers must submit additional security data via the Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) before arrival at the border. Missing or incorrect data could mean severe delays or refusal of entry.
