UK GUIDANCE (UPDATES)

Prove the origin of your goods if you’re trading with a country that has a trade agreement with the UK, or is covered by the Generalised Scheme of Preferences. Information about using the trade tariff tool to check which of the different types of proof of origin you need. The section about issuing green paper EUR1 and EUR-MED movement certificates has been updated.

How to use the Trade Tariff tool or get help to classify your goods, so you pay the right Customs Duty and import VAT. Related guidance updated to include sending goods to an overseas customer using rules of origin.

The current easement of delaying declarations when import goods into free circulation in Great Britain from EU free circulation expires on 31 December 2021. From this moment on, businesses need to make full import declarations. There are also new import controls that are coming up throughout the year, together with global changes at the WCO level.
