The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is undergoing a significant revision, with the European Commission proposing major simplifications. We have analysed this in a detailed blog, called the 15 Top CBAM Simplifications.

EU importers pay attention: From April 1, 2025, the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) will expand to rail and road transport, reinforcing pre-arrival security requirements.

The EU is also preparing for potential U.S. trade tensions.
