UK NCTS 5: How to subscribe

Here, we are explaining to get ready to make transit declaration in NCTS5.

New NCTS users

• You need to have a Government Gateway user ID and password. If you do not have a user ID, you can create one.

• You will need to create an organisation account and make a note of your Government Gateway user ID and password for future use.

• Once you have your Government Gateway user ID and password you can subscribe to the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS).

Existing NCTS users

• If you have subscribed to the NCTS before NCTS4, you must upgrade your subscription before you can use NCTS5.

• To access NCTS5, you must use the Government Gateway or find out how to access the NCTS with third-party software.

• Becoming a NCTS subscriber will automatically enable you to use the NCTS5 service.

• You will need to use the same Government Gateway organisation account that was used to create your existing subscription to subscribe to the NCTS4.

• If you do not have the Government Gateway user ID or password for that organisation account, you will need to contact HMRC to recover the user ID or password.

How to subscribe

1. Get an EORI number starting GB if you need one.

2. Subscribe to the New Computerised Transit System (NCTS).
